>>2638927>>2638927Hard to say for certain. Everything is a compromise. I got a Cat 30 because it's a decent coastal cruiser/weekender that handles well in light/moderate winds. A lot of larger full keel boats don't move until they get +15 mph winds. Realistically, most of us take our boats out for day sails and the occasional weekend cruise. Didn't make sense to get too much boat and not need it most of the time. It's a lot cheaper by the foot, too. Around here is $15 a foot
