>>2298117The Casio A700 is pretty good.
It has an objectively better backlight and is 2mm thinner than the F-91W (A700 is 6.5mm thick).
I had the A700 with the slatted bracelet.
I have mildly hairy wrists - which got pinched by the bracelet.
Gifted it and went back to the A158.
Never did try out the A700 with the mesh bracelet, though I hear it's really comfy.
A bit dressy for my tastes, though I admit it does look like it would be slick with a sport coat and dress shirt.
https://youtu.be/WLQFq5IzSq4You could also go with the Casio A1000.
Full steel body and has the exact same module as the A700.
The A1000 is 7.5mm thick, so it's still thinner than the A158 & F91W and also has protected buttons.
Very cool watch, in my estimation.
Not fit for /out/ however.
Too dressy.
Both the A700 and the A1000 seem too flashy for /out/.
Either one can take a beating, but they just won't be flashy after a few hikes.
I don't think that module is in a budget piece yet.
Maybe I'll check the catalogue to see.
Picrel is the A1000 that I sort of covet, though I have more F-91Ws than I have wrists, so I doubt I'll be picking one up.
