>>529720Put all that extra shit inside the pack. If it doesn't fit figure out a better way. You ever tow a trailer with too much weight in the back and it started to swing like a bitch, pulling your car all over the highway? That's what it's going to feel like when those water bottles start swinging.
I'm 90% sure I have the exact same bag as you and it's a great bag, I've gone a week out of mine before. You just need to start getting your packing list slimmed down. That pot is comically huge, try looking for one small enough to just fit around your water bottle like the army does with canteen cups. And if that red thing is your sleeping bag I hope it's waterproofed.
>>529800As a "light" infantryman the only times I carried 110lbs were at Ranger School and Sapper School. The longer you go the lighter you want your ruck to be. For a week I shoot for as close to 50lbs as I can get, the rule of thumb is never go over 1/3 of your body weight for an extended period of time.
>>529806 this guy has it right. 60 lbs is a good starting point but if you're actually trying to "bug out" you're going to want to keep working it down. >>529805bow makes sense in commifornia, I'm not going to give you shit about it.
>>529873He's right about pace, but being "true blue" myself I'm going to call him out. The EIB standard is 12 miles in 3 hours with a 35lb ruck. For 95lbs there is no set standard, but we plan for about 1 kilometer an hour while patrolling over terrain with a lot of weight.
