>>124427I'm not really into drugs or alcohol. I've been drunk a number of times though, mostly from enjoying quality drink more than any desire not to be sober. Shit's mostly stupid and from my own experience as well as what I've seen in my friends, it makes you sluggish and fat over time. This is counter productive to enjoying the outdoors.
As for actual drugs, I've been offered pot a few times and just say, "No thank you". I did get a pretty good contact buzz at a Bob Dylan concert once but it just made me really hungry. Here's what I can tell you about it for sure, I run a business and the people that steal AND also do drugs are much weaker. Their physics are gone. I've also seen more of the hardcore drugs really degrade the mental capacity of several of my friends. So no, they're not for me.
I'll also give you that a high might be pretty cool, especially in the great outdoors I can't speak to it but it WILL over time degrade you and that will lessen the experience.
That's just me projecting though. The older I get the more I'm not keeping up with the "change".
