>>1035786You can sleep comfortably with an exploder or 4runner if it's just one or two people. But more comfortable if you get the taco or ranger as the 6ft bed is much more helpful (as you mentioned about a truck with a cap).
You just gotta choose 2 from the following: gas mileage, comfiness, offroad capability with mods.
Expeditions and Burbs just makes them less expensive starting out and eats gas as you go on. Work vans are worth waiting around for, sure. But I'm just laying out the options for the anon here
>>1035764And as a last blurb, the Land Cruisers are really damn comfortable off and on the road. The FJ80s are very reliable and have the pre2000s engines in that they're not very powerful but last forever. FJ100s are not worth jack since muh pigfat IFS and on-road comfort. Any land cruiser after that (105, 150, 76, 79, etc) is just an option to be really comfortable on the road as well as off the road. Tay yodas have the meme tax and worse, meme tax along with diesel tax. But if you have the money, it can definitely work very well. Plus you pay less for insurance for some weird reason.
