>>1872989Okay so I'm gonna explain my setup.
I always do a clinch knot from the hook using a Monofilament line that matches the color of the water I fish so fish don't see the line.
I then tie the other end of the Monofilament leader to a swivel then I use an egg sinker weight depends on the strength of the current for the water honestly if live bait other than worms don't use a sinker.
If I use a sinker I put the sinker on the main line coming off the reel then polymer knot the main line because I use braid and a clinch knot will slip on braid in due time.
