>>1472151I hope it does too. The best thing you can do until then is to acquire as much compost material as possible (yard waste, kitchen waste, leaves, manures, wood chips, etc). It can sit around, turning into rich earth you can make into good soil later on.

The barrel planters seem to work really well for leafy greens on the sides and normal crops, like the peppers you want to grow, on top. Here's what mine looked like from 2013.
