Why bother trying to stop your room from getting dirty? It's just going to happen anyway.
Comparing natural fluctuations in climate to what's happening now and expected to happen is like comparing the gradual accumulation of dust in your bedroom to something like this.
No one's goal is to make the Earth's climate completely static. The goal is to minimize our effect on it, which, if our effect is having consequences that are bad for us, can only be good.
Assertions that humans are not having an effect are conspiracy theories. See
