Late to the party, but I too have a STORM. It's great and can handle anything you throw at it. I've used it when I go pooping outside of my tent in pitch darkeness and rain. Awesome. I also have 2 of the pic related model, a lot less heavy duty but you can get them in REI sales for like 15 bucks. I also have a number of Chinese crap lamps that are bulky and go through battteries like a fatass eating French fries. But Black Diamond is great from my experience
