Has anyone here done citrus in hydroponics? Does the fruit come out more watery or sweeter, or dry or...?

Also, I'm looking to do this for a living. I have 2 yards, 10x20 meters each, and I've just lost my job, and gotten a nice retrenchment package, so I can afford a bit of light construction and some solar panels/rain water storage etc, and I'd be able to survive for 3 months after all that. Or I can survive 1 year without the construction and solar panels.
