Hello, /hgm/ I'm back with an update on the raspberry's condition. She stabilized shortly after I started cutting back on her watering and cycled her sunlight exposure but unfortunately some of the leaves couldn't recover from the sunshock and they've since fallen off. She has grown new crowns on the end of her stems but won't crown anywhere else, which has me concerned. The top half of her cutting looks dried out and nothing seems to want to grow from it, nor does it seem to want to refresh itself. A single leaf has sprouted next to the base but it looks frail and I don't recall seeing it earlier. The leaves at the end grew out in the past 7-10 days and they seem to be thriving in the sun; she has worked her way up to being able to take a full day in partial shade with the latter half of the day being full-sun without any noticable changes in her sunburns.
Does anyone have tips on getting her to crown again? She had a few stems branching from the cutting but when the top half 'died' the leaves quickly died too. Pic is from earlier today; she's out on the front porch now (ignore the couch, we're moving soon).
