Beer-can-alcohol-stove. Denatured alcohol is easy to find. I buy a gallon at the hardware store and fill little12 oz plastic bottles to pack. Roughly 1 & 1/2 oz (US) alcohol will bring about 3 or 4 cups of water to a boil, enough for oatmeal and tea for the morning warm up. Alcohol does not have the energy density of gasoline, but you can carry it in HDPE plastic bottles, less volatile & scary. Disadvantage is the stove is hard to light when it's really cold.
