>>2242636Have you ever heard of a tuna can stove, or a crisco candle? You take any short and wide preferably steel can and roll cardboard in it. Then you pour in the cleanest burning flammable oil you can get. Let it soak in for a couple of minutes and then light it. It will burn like an actual burner for a surprisingly long time. The down side is that there's not a lot you can do to control the temp other than having a lid part way over it or controlling how far away your pan is. A crisco candle is literally a jar that you pour warm crisco in and add a wick in the middle. You can just use butchers twine. They are supposed to burn clean for days. Crisco is cheaper than wax by a lot. You can do the same thing with bulk paraffin wax. Like gulf wax. It's cheap at places like hobby lobby for people who make their own candles.
