>>902627After being dropped back on route 20 by the wife, I continued down the road about a mile until I found a suitable patch of woods to camp in for the night. I pushed my way through the brush and cleared a spot on the forest floor. After setting up camp, I set about making dinner: quinoa, dried red pepper, and sliced morels from my first hunt. After struggling to keep the fire going, I had my first self-produced hot meal in the woods... and it was ultimately more satisfying than any NEET cup of ramen I've ever eaten. I later took a shit and went to sleep.
The next day, I was offered a ride from a family going nowhere in particular, and they later supplied me with granola bars and bottled water, for which I thanked them profusely. I continued walking for many many miles, until I finally reached Ashtabula, Ohio. After hitting up the gas station for a map of the area, I went to the local salvation army to get a fleece pullover; it's cold as fuck along the great lakes in spring. I then stopped by a milsurp store, but was unsuccessful in finding tent stakes.
Back out on the main road, I heard a voice call out to me; I turned around, and there was a girl asking me if I wanted a ride and a meal. Pretty ballsy for her to pick up some random hitchhiker, but I digress. I changed in to some clean clothes, and she treated me to some food and ale at a local bar: I believe it was Brennan's Pub. She ended up offering me to stay the night at her house, and I smoked bowls with her and her aunt. The next day I helped her family move items out of their garage for a garage sale so they could make ends meet.
She later imparted upon my an 8th of shrooms.
