We have season open 365 days/year 24 hours a day with zero limits. I'm starting to think that they are the reason I might not be getting any deer coming to the location. I've read deer do not feed in the present of hogs, and out of all the pics I've gotten you never see them together. I have seen coons together with both species though.
I thought I might mention something else. I've read and come to believe that once a coon finds a food source the hogs will soon find it as well. They say hogs track and follow the scents of coons because they know they are great and finding food sources. The coons found this feed not even 24 hours after I placed it, and then within another 24 hours the hogs found it as well.
