A trailcam is a camera that is mounted and left for a period of time, which is triggered by body heat or motion, and then the pictures are retrieved at a later time. These are commonly refereed to as "game cams" as they take pictures of wild game (bear, deer, turkey, squirrel, moose, bigfoot, chipmunk, coyote, buffalo, wildebeest, antelope, caribou, etc).
