Meat not bad enough to use for bait, but not that great either? Do to it the traditional Indian way (so I'm told..) .. Make that curry paste, then fill in ingredients that cover all the taste senses-- salty, sweet, sour, bitter, savoury-- and then add the dodgy meat-- and cook the fuck out of it for as long as possible. All the tastes have been covered, so the off-ness of the meat is hard to notice.
This was onion, salt, sugar, milk powder, peanuts, chopped mandarin peal, mandarin pieces, half a cup of tea... and 5-day old unrefrigerated sausages that I'd forgotten about.
