what I wonder about is why people have such strong feeling twords Israel, no one bats an eye when actual genocide is comitted.
as for /out/ israel general - the country isn't very big, you can hike from one end to the other (it's about 1000km), the view changes from forests to agricultural and to a few types of desert.
at general, the relationship with the Israeli arabs is better (and far more complex) than what the news make out of it, I buy meat and other stuff there.
as for stories, a group I use to dive with found a gold treasure if that counts. met some interesting people along when hiking but I don't think that's Israeli-specific.
