>>2746271thanks man, I grew up in the suburbs so rural life is different to me but I'm learning to not get too attached to them. It's funny my local dump is like...filled with roosters. it just became a town thing and now there are 30+ roosters all over that place and I almost want to just go take one but they're fierce looking. right now I'm printing some crow statues and will buy a fake owl at the farm store. I think they never got attacked last year since I let them roam the whole yard and they hung out with the dog and had more hiding spots.
oh also for protein give Rudypoo some green peas. ducks love em and it will help his legs grow strong so he doesn't walk all wonky. even as adults all my birds fucking love when I throw them some peas. Pic is the old meat ducks eggs. most of them were double yolk it was crazy good but we gave to a friend of ours because the female would squawk all fucking day and they ate way too much food.
