Something I can baton if I need to without needing to worry about it breaking.Something I'm not worried about banging up or scratching.
Wood feels right in my palm too. It's never really cold to the touch and [although] the oils from my hand will deteriorate the wood I can choose to refurbish it with oil, or, leave it looking old so I get a feel (bad idea i know just saying).
I like a hunters point because, well, primarily because it just wouldn't be a hunting knife otherwise. I also think it just looks handsome.
I like hunting knifes because it wasn't designed for people as well. It HAS been used to take human life, but, the Tactical point is what I think of when I think of felling a man with a blade, not a Hunter's point.
