>>1926037What specifically don't you like about shorter handles? The weight range you're looking for are referred to as "boys axes" and have smaller eyes than full size axes. You will probably end up needing to shape a handle to fit the eye of the head you want to hang however. I'm 6 4" and 31 1/2" is a sweet spot for me with choppers, I only really like 36" for splitters, but I use 26-28" boys axes for chopping quite often as well. I just adjust my stance to be lower than it would normally be. You will more than likely find the configuration you're looking for to be fatiguing and inaccurate in comparison to a traditional boys axe.
