I’m very lucky this is generational family land. My family goes back like to the civil war owning land in that area in Maine, but the particular land I stay on was bought by my great grandfather, and is currently owned by my grandparents. When they pass it will belong to an LLC where their 4 kids (my parents generation) will have equal shares in. It is 450 acres, a lot of water front, and a bit up the side of a mountain, a one acre peninsula is where our Compound of cabins is.
