Yeah i know we catch hell. I surf longboard and live on the island so its cool, maybe twice a week it's rideable on average. About 2 or 3 days a month it gets really fun. We do get decent size surf it is just rare that it is long period and wind is right. Basically hurricanes help a lot and winter is better.
Waiting for the tide to fill in this afternoon to surf Galvatraz, surf side was slow and about shoulder high but not walling up due to the low tide this morning. It was 8' at 8 sec last night, dropping to 3' at 7 sec after noon.
Still more fun then not getting wet on a weekend.
