Native north american fish are mostly a little lazy. Peacocks fight harder than LMBs, especially when you get >4lb LMBs that are just lazy most of the time. Snakeheads fight like wild because those cunts run for the nearest structure and a big one will wrap your line up real fast. Biggest freshwater fish I ever hooked and lost must have been a near record and he ran my 20lb braid into a snag after a few seconds of fighting and then the drag going brrrrrr, I’m 90% sure it was a snakehead. Guy who lived on this lake told me about a ridiculous sized one he got there and tossed back, something like 36” or 40”+ and I totally believe him because I have gotten 24”+ fish thwre and would think I hooked a gator if it didn’t hit and fight just like a snakehead.
