>>1870700>I chalk it up to a healthy environment and low stress.Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Besides the very mild insect nibbling on the edges and surfaces of the leaves, they look absolutely content. Very lush green, very firm and turgid stems and vines.
Here's an image of exactly what I'm talking about, though. See all the pre-male flowers there bunching in the center, and see that pre-female flower over in the back. Neither has bloomed yet, but theoretically the female shouldn't even be there at all. That's just one. There's several more around the plant on other vines that I couldn't capture in the image. Same story for one next to it.
Isn't it peculiar?
