As for line twist, it seems pepsi uses braid. Not sure how the inlines effect braid or what line twist does to it, but line twist absolutely kills mono if you can't fix it.
I use 6# mono for my light freshwater spinning setup and a proper swivel helps. Get a high quality swivel like spro, not like a cheap mustad swivel. Also get one as small as you can. It will defintely help the twist. Inlines and spoons are the only time I recommend a swivel.
