I've been running it for about a two years now and the steel has held up fantastic, although it is coming close to time for a proper sharpening instead of just honing and stropping.
When it comes to QC I would highly recommend going out to a local store and trying out a knife that you plan to buy, and get that one. This way you can give it the rounds and see if there are any wobbly parts - when I was shopping for mine, I went through 2 Grizzly Creeks and 3 North Forks before I decided which one I wanted.
>>1804860I used to say this when I couldn't afford Benchmade, Spyderco's are great budget options that'll hold up strong as well, but the locking action isn't as satisfying as the axis lock.
