People telling me where I could fill my water bottle, offering me fruit, most wishing a good camino, all of that.
Both when going solo and when hiking with a companion.
Now you have to understand that it's also a business and some places see literally hundreds if not thousands of pilgrims a day, each and every one of them wanting to enjoy the experience and imerse themselves in the spirit and get some of that wholesome camino vibe so there are likely times where locals can get a bit tired or not so much excited as you will probably be.
My experience is kinda bias though,honestly I love Spain, I've been there a bunch of times, speak the language and have had people asking me if I was a Galician kek.
