They're definitely worth it. With the bass boxes, they normally include a crankbait that retails for $10-$15, so that covers the cost of the box right there. And they will send you some shit you wouldn't use otherwise so it gets you to try some different lures. They have panfish boxes, trout boxes, inshore salt, etc too and you can change it every month. As for MTB vs LTB, they are almost exactly the same thing from seeing everybody else's boxes.
It's also an inexpensive way to build up your tackle collection if you don't have much. Everything they send is higher end, no generic $2 spinners or cranks. With the coupon code on 3mos, you end up getting $100 worth of tackle for $33. I didn't renew it because I already can't fit my crankbaits into my tackle bag so I'm trying to slow down and only buy stuff I really like.
