>>1391573>>1391578I've done a very small section through Picketpost mountain into the Superstitions, only about 10-15 miles in late summer (in 105F temps). I went north bound for a bit then back south again. Both directions are pretty much just as difficult once you get to central AZ. The elevation gain is back and forth as you go through several mountain ranges, in both directions. Once you get onto the Mogollon Plateau it's supposed to get much easier and cooler. Bring a fuckload of water no matter what time of year it is.
