>>1483755I use a toaster oven for all my dehydrated recipes. It totally works, but there is a learning curve, and it’s best to make small batches of stuff. You also have to be more attentive with a toaster oven and check on the food every hour or so. If you take the trays out, shuffle the food around so it won’t stick, and gently plot up any excess moisture with some paper towels, it will come out fine. The chili I make typically stores well in the freezer for 3 months and if you leave it in open air it’s good for a week.
