Cave have narrow sections but also wide enough spots. Cave ceiling and pockets can be incorporated in to the design so no bulky material needed.
Like big mountains we establish multiple camps, ideally connected to air supply, power, and telephone
line. Now with more breathing room (lol) divers can take it slow and also can find more immediate refuge instead of rushing all the way back
