Today was my second day ever fishing, and I used a dock demon and tried each of these baits on my hook but didn’t even get a bite. Yesterday I got a smallmouth and a bluegill.
Are these baits suited for those two fish, and maybe rainbow trout? I’m fishing in ponds with my bobber a little under a foot above my hook and a single small weight halfway between them.
Also am I supposed to just cast the line, then wait 5-10 minutes and then recast?
