Any suggestions for a small aluminum boat that can navigate shallow water, narrow streams/rivers, calm water, light enough to carry, can transport in back of small pickup, and hold 2 people & gear of no more than about 600lbs distributed? Upright seats are not wanted and the most motor it'd have would be a trolling motor (and oars). I don't want something with seats that hide a portion of the bottom, due to difficulty in repairing if needed.
Like what would the best style be? I was thinking a 10ft john boat like pic related, but I'm not too familiar with them verses other styles. Anyone with hands on experience who can recommend anything?
This one has foam under the seats (in case of capsizing) and no access to under the seats.
