Do you even realize how much you have to eat to even get poisoning from that? Try reading the set of posts you replied to again. I also highly doubt Chris was able to even harvest that much of those seeds in the first place.
Look at what you posted. None of it actually has any proof of anything at all. It is all hypothetical in regards to what Chris did or if he was actually poisoned. This stuff here is what tips a person off to the fallacy:
1: Only purified ODAP showed a higher concentration of the toxin.
2: diet that was deficient in specific trace elements and vitamins such as vitamin C, A, and magnesium
3: notorious and deadly cousin, Lathyrus sativus.
Those are ear marks of doublespeak, fear-based-plant-poison myths, and obvious ignorance. 1: This is obvious, they say right there that it needs to be purified to even be measurable. 2: a diet of wild berries, seeds, mushrooms, squirrels, and leafy greens is actually quite high in Vitamin C(high), Vitamin A(extremely high), and magnesium(moderate); he simply wasn't finding enough to eat. 3: This is a weasel statement, listing a "notorious" and "deadly cousin" and juxapositioning it like that is just a psychological ploy in wording; advertising agencies do the same thing, "From The Producers Who Saw Shrek"; "Reads like Lord of the Rings", etc.
The moron not once had enough food at all, at any time he was in Alaska (baring the moose fuckup). He was living off his own body and only eating enough to spread this out over about 4+ months. I mean look at this chart made from his diary entries,
>>406286 It is a train wreck. If he spent more time attaining food instead of writing in his diary, he might have lived long enough to return to civilization before winter set in. He'd never have made it through fall alive, let alone winter. He didn't have enough knowledge even for fall/autumn.
