Indian prayer candles. I have no idea how to find them on the internet, but they are 50 for $1.50 at a local import shop, and each burns about twenty minutes. A harder wax than paraffin.
Mag bar. Why doesn't anyone carry these any more? There's no downside.
Pill bottle full of fatwood shavings. Because why carry around a stick of the stuff you have to fiddle with in the cold, and wet?
And in my pocket, small firesteel, Opinel, Bic. I prefer the Opinel to most other knives for fire starting because it works fantastically as a striker for fire steels and flint...while closed.
