Now for recommendations. The Lowas I posted earlier are god tier if they fit your feet. Euros have smaller feet apparently and their stuff always runs smaller and skinnier. If you need wide, I recommend S2Vs. They fit wide and offers god tier ankle stability, and this was the pair that saved my ankles multiple times trudging through land nav in the shittiest terrain. They are extremely rugged and durable, but they are on the heavier side. A Goretex version also exists.
