Threw some topwaters and didn't get any bites. Threw a smaller Speed Craw on a Texas rig and got one hit. But I got a ton of bites on the Mepps.
I wish I could fish along this canal more but there are bushes and really tall grass along most of it. There's this tiny pond right across the canal but the vegetation is too thick to even throw an inline. Small pond is right in front of me in this pic and canal is to the left behind those bushes.
