we need less iterations of vehicles every year and share 90% of parts between a entire brands lineup. one single motor for the brand that will last 600,000 miles that can be run off biofuel with a good power to weight ratio is entirely feasible with technologies that are more than 100 years old
we need more a modular design process with repurposability in the technology that are labour saving devices. they no longer are labour saving devices when they require vast sums of money to keep running and have to be serviced by specialists. our tools should work for us, not make us slaves.
