Went out and tried for some afternoon browns. Saw some interesting things. Learned some stuff. Didn't catch any trout. Only one creek chub. I had one trout follow in my fly and one other one ate it but popped off while I was fighting it.

The guy who has a camp next to ours runs a salmon charter on the lake and he told me the fish have been coming in the river early and often. The only thing I'm worried about is A. Being somewhere alone where there isn't 50 other fags all ass to ankles standing next to me B. If I actually do hook into one I'm not gunna have a clue how to land it
