>>1672565it’s all about the shape, and the bend. hard to describe but when you put a dr.spoon in the water and retrieve one it’s action is unlike a traditional spoon like you have. you get a much more erratic action. we’ve tried all kinds of spoons, spinner baits, and hardbaits when we go up for our annual pike trips and nothing will outproduce a chrome and gold dr. spoon. second best we’ve found are mepps syclops.
