Also in that pic you can see zippers that extend to the bottom that open up the entire front of the pack for easy access.
I have an osprey with elastic mesh at the front that I love, but desu I only use it for a hat/stuffing an extra layer for quick access, and the top webbing of the kajka would fill those purposes too, with better load distribution.
