why does the line just try to yeet itself off the reel? i had a huge pasture to work with so I just walked backwards stretching the line out and then reeling it back on each time so i didn't have to cut it out but i had to do that shit like 3 times before i could cast it without line exploding everywhere
today I went out for round two and it behaved okay but i don't know if its because my handling improved or if running the line out and reeling it back on fixed it. pic related was the best catch of the day, hair under 4lbs
not a great pic but I didn't want to keep it out of the water very long so I didn't really bother checking pic quality before releasing
