i cant stress enough to use 20w50 oil in the letranny. a guy on the jeep forums contacted peugeot hq and they got back to him to use 20w50 oil in it. maaaybe since you live in a cold climate you could use 10w40. i switched to 20w50 and the difference was night and day
there is also a kit by omix that has the oem length shackles if you wanna keep it original
