>>2041627I've had issues with basil in the past. They like to be pruned. Pic related is how Basil should be pruned to encourage new growth, the more new growth the more energy the plant will be able to collect, to repeat the cycle.
The rule of thumb with herbs is to not let them flower or their flavor changes and they develop less foliage which is your harvest. Additionally, I'd cull any dead/dying/diseased leaves. It may be too late for that plant in general.
