I am a large bear man at 6'3 and 255lbs. I grew up hiking and backpacking, but unfortunately I was poor so the gear was always not great and I had to settle. Fast forward to now, and I have a good job and want to splurge on three things that I never could afford: a nice backpacking pack, a nice sleeping bag, and a nice sleeping pad. Everything else I have works great. I have looked around and man, the pads and bags for people of my large girth is limited. Big agnes looks like it has the best bet of a sleep system for me and can't find any other pads and bags as big as they offer. Any other suggestions? Money really isn't an issue for this stuff.
Also, for backpacks, I saw osprey has like a $700 backpack for hiking. I also have a pro deal with them, so their new backpacks would cost me about half that. Worth it?
