Why? I didn't buy the pack of seeds on principle. I'm going to wait until I can find a sunflower and I'll pluck out some of its seeds to plant my own sunflowers.
I don't think the cheap seeds that you're meant to eat will work because I think they roast/boil the seeds to kill bacteria.
I got the idea recently to grow sunflowers because I want to harvest sunflower seeds every so often and they're pretty.
