I use mine for everything, and only carry a razorblade and a big kukuri for clearing brush and making my own trails or cleaning up trails that are extremely overgrown with pokey bits at face-level.
It's also nice to have a sap covered knife like this when cooking, tree sap mixing with meat during cooking is like a spice.
