Throw some gold spoons and you might get some mackerel, and blue crab meat for sheepshead if you want to deal with that. Bring a lawn chair and hang out with beers, assuming the pier is open right now desu. All the piers in my area are shut down, depending on where you are you may be able to fish the surf for snook or reds around this time, or wade around some flats although I think panhandle is a bit on the rocky side. Give it a shot and spend a few hours if you can, see if you like it.
