>>1472775Just ride. As other posters have pointed out, you bought a piece of shit, but there is no one correct route. Try your local hill as often as you can. It will get easier and easier. Everyone needs to rest sooner or later. Be sure to drink lots of water. Eventually, you may need to eat to support your riding habits, but you don't need to worry about that yet, especially not if you want to lose weight.
I did around 250 km with 2400 m of elevation gained last weekend. Without carrying camping gear and navigating through snow and ice on the roads, I've done almost that much in a single day.
